I'm writing this as a cautionary tale about my terrible experience, hoping it helps others avoid the same pitfalls. My anniversary ring, bought from Shreve & Co. seven years ago, was sold to me as something I could wear every day. What a joke! It has cracked three times, the diamond chain has broken twice, and a diamond has fallen out. It's clearly a poor structural design. Despite being the cost of a nice used car, Shreve will not stand behind it after multiple repairs. The first break happened when it was only two years old, and it just kept happening. The last time I called, the manager was belligerent, and my emails to the SF store went unanswered. I felt utterly compelled to leave this review and engage with customer service because this situation is simply unacceptable.
